These are hard times for many people. I have found that more individuals than ever could benefit from life coaching, yet many feel that they can't afford it. Since my objective is to improve the world by helping people live their best lives, I search for creative ways to make that possible. This program should help you obtain life coaching without breaking the bank.
I got this idea a year ago while negotiating with my hospital over their hefty surgery fees. There was no way I could make the payments they were billing so they said, "What can you pay each month?" I was the one who set the fee, which took the pressure off me and allowed me to continue my life. We also negotiated the total amount down a bit. Hmmmm, I thought. This could work with my clients. Thus, the Pay What You Can Plan was born.
The Pay What You Can Plan is neither pro bono nor a complete deferment. You must pay something every time ($25 or above) and you keep paying me on a regular, scheduled basis until my fee is met (like a lay-away plan.) If my regular fee is beyond you, we might negotiate a lower per-session amount. ($45 minimum.)Youdecide what your budget can bear.
I rarely provide complete pro-bono (free) work, except for
occasional sample sessions. I have found that those who pay for
coaching take it much more seriously. While I do want coaching to be within reach for
everyone, I don't have time to fool around
with curiosity-seekers - no offense.
The Pay What You Can Plan is an honor system. While I
need to make a living just like you do, I have decided that I don't
want to spend my time being a collection agency. It also poisons the wellbeing needed to do this intimate work together. I keep track of
payments but I'm not going to bug you for money. I want my focus instead to be
on the work we do together.
Don't get greedy, though, because it won't serve you in the long run. Our best work will be done when there is trust and respect on both sides. If people feel they are "getting away with something," I find that hampers them in feeling really open and available to this kind of work. Guilt impedes intent. I want to make my work accessible to as many individuals as possible - without being taken advantage of.
Specifically... How the "Pay What You Can Plan" Works:
You let me know that you need to be on the "Pay What You Can Plan."
We discuss whether or not you will owe me my full session fee (and pay it off over time) or whether you need to pay less.
You decide what you can pay each session and whether you can make other payments between sessions. In other words, you work out a specific payment schedule for yourself and then let me know what you intend.
You need to pay me something for each session ($25 minimum toward whatever the total fee is.) This is consistent with my no pro bono policy.
How to pay: If we meet in person, you may pay in
cash, by check, or in advance via PayPal. I do not take credit cards at this time,
but you can set up your PayPal account to link to your credit card. If we coach by phone, pay me online through PayPal at cbemerlye@hotmail.com. Setting up a PayPal account is easy at www.PayPal.com.
I don't want anything to stop you from seeking the benefits that Life Coaching can bring you. Our world needs people who are creative, balanced, energetic and whole. As each of us becomes more of the person we want and intend to be, we make everything around us better.
